Real estate portal Housing.com has launched Price Heat Maps feature on its website. The new feature will enable users to check prices of localities across a city on a map. These maps have been color coded, with localities in a gradation from red to green- to indicate high to low prices.
Instead of selecting different filters to search a house, users can simply open the map to get average price rates for the entire city at one go.The Housing Data Science Lab’s team of Data Scientists has studied the price variable in markets of different cities and come up with a simple graphic representation for people. The Price Heat Map is now available for the cities of Mumbai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru, Noida and Ghaziabad.
In August this year, Housing.com added classified section for farmers and villagers. The company raised $2.5 million in a Series A funding round from Nexus Venture Partners in June. Last month, the startup bought the Housing.com domain name as well as a national number 03-333-333-333, for a substantial sum of $1 million.
